Police beat: Shoplifting team at Bloomingdale's

Obscene graffiti was found today on a sign in front of Temple Beth-El on Hauppauge Road.

Huntington Station

A woman told police that vandals damaged her car yesterday in the Wendy's parking lot on West Jericho Turnpike.

Personnel at Bloomingdale's at the Walt Whitman Mall said they saw three shoplifters run out of the store and leave in a black Lexus yesterday. No license plate number was given for the car in the police report.

Melville

The owner of the All About Tile store on Route 110 told police he found graffiti on his building today. He said this has been an on-going problem for him.

Arrest roundup
The 2nd Precinct that covers the Town of Huntington reported that 39 arrests were made from Sept. 11-12. Charges included petit larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance, burglary, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and criminal contempt.
