Police beat: Cars damaged in East Northport

Commack
A car was broken into yesterday in the Target parking lot on Veterans Memorial Highway and the GPS unit was stolen.

During a burglary at the Smithtown Car Wash on Jericho Turnpike yesterday, $200 was taken.

Dix Hills
A burglary was discovered today at a building on Deer Park Avenue. The police report said $450 was taken.

A resident on McLane Drive told police today his automatic pool cleaner that he valued at $1,200 was stolen.

East Northport
A windshield was broken yesterday on a car on Bellecrest Avenue.

The driver-side window and door were found scratched on a car on Hammond Road yesterday.

Eaton's Neck
Two youths were caught damaging the roof of the building at Hobart's Beach today. The police reported that one parent said he would pay for all damages.

Elwood
A resident on Burr Road said two planters were stolen from his yard yesterday.

Greenlawn
The rear passenger window was broken yesterday on a Honda Civic on Northgate Drive.

Huntington
A car window was broken by a air pistol yesterday on Derby Avenue.

A resident on Gildare Drive said a wooden chair was thrown from a passing car and broke the tail light on her car yesterday.

The front windshield was broken yesterday on a car in a parking lot on New York Avenue.

The rear windshield was broken yesterday on a car on Ridgewood Street.

Huntington Station
A resident on Lockwood Avenue yesterday said three windows were broken on his car.

The tires and rims were stolen from a car in storage on West Hills Road yesterday.

Melville
Dealer license plates were stolen from a car on Riga Lane yesterday.
