Police beat: NYPD badge stolen in Huntington

  • A laptop computer, designer pocketbooks and Liberty coins were taken during a burglary yesterday at a house on Harned Road.

  • A car was broken into today on Cameo Road and the heater control unit was broken and the stereo was stolen.

  • Police reported that a woman was arrested yesterday and charged with a DWI on the Northern State Parkway ramp in Dix Hills.

  • A store window was broken yesterday on Larkfield Road.

  • Police reported today that a woman was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle that involved property damage on the corner of Larkfield and Daley Roads.

  • A house being built on Kenneth Avenue was broken into today and copper pipes were stolen.

  • A New York City police officer said his badge and wallet with his credit cards in it was stolen from his locker at the New York Sports Club on New Street yesterday.

  • A 19-year-old woman was caught shoplifting yesterday at Blossom’s Jewelry store on Main Street.

  • Two windows and a door were found broken today at a house on Dix Hills Road.
