Attending these band shows is a great way to support your community. The $6 entrance fee just covers the cost of the judges. Anything you purchase such as food or raffles goes directly to funding the marching band.

Both Walt Whitman High School and Huntington High School marching bands will be on showcase at this event.

Plus you'll get to see bands from Garden City, Malverne, Division Avenue, Deer Park, Lindenhurst, Brentwood, Mineola, Roslyn and a brand new exhibition performance from King's Park.

On a cool crisp October evening there's nothing better than sitting in the stands bundled in your favorite sweatshirt, drinking hot chocolate, eating popcorn and watching some of the most talented high school bands of Long Island. Better yet, it's cheaper than a movie!

For local residents, try to sneak a parking spot at one of the large lots along Jericho Tpke. You might have to walk a bit but you'll be glad when you see the line up to get out of the school.
